How We Orgainsed Our Props and Costumes

For our piece, the props we have considered using are 2 guns, 2 iPhones and a brief case, and the costumes consist of mainly suits. We also want a sweet or toy to put in the brief case. For props in the film opening we want Pete to have a gun and the guard to have a gun so we have the choice of including a fight scene. We bought a couple online for quite a cheap price so it was easy to get them and they look quite realistic. They won't be used until Pete meets Sebastian because a gun wouldn't be necessary until that point of the narrative.

For the IPhones and the brief case we already have what we need as we can use our own phones, and Alex owns a case we could use. We will use the phones throughout the whole film opening when Pete and Sebastian contact each other.

The props were quite simple and easy to get as we already had most of the stuff we needed and we didn't have to make anything. We will probably use a mars bar in the film opening as well as Alex already has one we can use.

For the costumes, the actors playing the characters of Pete and Sebastian have their own suits which they can use for the film opening which helps us save more money and time. For the dealer he just wears a hoodie and we will use one of my jackets over the top to make him look a bit more hidden. We ordered a balaclava online which was easy to do and we are looking to use that later on in the film opening.

By doing this we have now organised the props ready for filming and we know how we will be using the props in the piece. Now we need to film the scenes using these props.
