Our Film Moodboard

For this task we will create a mood board of the sort of theme we want out film to look like. This will help us when it comes to the mise consideration for our piece.
The sort of props we are looking to include are things like guns, brief cases, a phone, etc. Costume wise, we want our main character to wear a suit to represent that he is important and has a good job. Also to represent that he is the everyday person who spends most of their days working which therefore is representing that realistic situation idea as its happening to an everyday person like it could happen to anyone. For the guards we want them to wear black clothing and balaclavas to hide their faces as they aren't particularly important for the film. They will be used for creating the action for a fight scene or chase scene. The police idea is slightly controversial as we have noticed that many action films won't involve police as they are more suited towards the drama genre. However for it to be a realistic situation, it would make sense for police to get involved at some point in the film. Some of the location ideas we have are in a city and in a car park as these locations are commonly used in action films. We want to include some sort of fast paced moment in our film opening which we can do by adding a fight or chase scene which we will consider. We are considering using a car in our film opening as we want to get some shots of the characters meeting in which one of them will turn up in a car.

By doing this task it has helped us to understand our theme and make sure we keep it looking this way so that our film opening flows better and looks like an action film. We have looked at the sort of mise we could include and how to include it so it would make sense in our film opening and work well with the narrative.
