Location Scouting

The advantages for the car park location used in the pictures is that we can get good establishing shots and get amazing views for the first scene, The only problem for this is, we want a very sunny day but seeing as the location is on the roof of a car park the sun is very bright therefore making the lighting on the phone very dark.

For the next locations we wanted it in a field and under a tunnel, the problem with in the fields, is that it's quite a public place therefore a lot of people are getting in the way, on the plus side it does look very aesthetically appealing and quite beautiful. With regards to the tunnel, it's a good location to set the scene and create tension but is quite dark and echoes inside giving us difficulties to film.

This will help us when creating our film, as it gives us options to whether we can use our scouting ideas or go elsewhere, for example go into a field where people won't get in your way, or go onto a car park but not the top floor. It opens our eyes to alternative locations giving us the right options to choose from. We wanted to film in London as action films generally are shot in built up areas and well known locations but we couldn't because we live too far away and couldn't get all the actors there to shoot the whole film.
